Flux
Buddhism holds that everything is in never-ending flux. “The world is continuous flux and is impermanent.” Heraclitus of Ephesus reminds us that, “All is flux, nothing stays still”.
Moving with a wavelike motion, the sand dunes undulate toward the sea with smooth rising-and-falling or side-to-side movement. And Dennis Hopper, “When I saw the ocean for the first time, I remember thinking that that ocean looked very similar to our wheat fields”.
Khalil Gibran teaches, “I have reached the peak of the mountain; my spirit has taken flight… the last traces of the valleys have been flooded by the ocean of serenity…The roar of ocean waves has faded. I no longer hear anything but the anthem of eternity, which harmonizes with the spirit.”
