Salt

Salt, my interpretation of abstract and unexpected color patterns, is based upon the salt evaporation basins of San Francisco South Bay.  It illustrates brilliant color hued pockets and tactile textures that are ever changing. 

The colorful variety of the pond basin hues, the man-made evaporation pans, high-rise tension electrical towers, and heavy industrial manufacturing equipment indicate the connection between man and land from an unexpected perspective.

The composition of land and sea topography, the balance of shapes along with almost tactile textures create harmonic photographic aerial images that suggest bold abstract graphic paintings.
